biography




I have been a painter for 40 years or so... me and the tabby here. We have engaged in various dubious activities.

Keith has been a painter for the past 40 years graduating from the Ontario College of Art in 1971 where he studied painting Following this, he did graphic design and illustration in Toronto while continuing to paint in studios and “en plein air” both abstractly and figuratively in a variety of mediums.

In the late eighties he moved to Vancouver Island and settled in Sooke. He spent a number of years as a graphic designer at The Department of Defense in Victoria BC. while continuing to paint and show. Now retired, Keith continues to paint in his Sooke studio. Over the years, his works have been shown in various galleries.

Keith has painted in various places in Canada from

Cape Breton, to British Columbia. His interest lies in the urban and natural landscape principally at the present time, Vancouver Island. He is currently represented by the South Shore Gallery in Sooke BC.
